Three years…. sometimes it seems so long ago and sometimes it feels like only yesterday. Some tears have dried, but others remain. Much has changed in our lives, but much is the same. You remain a pivotal force in our lives and I pray every day for the strength to honor you by being a better Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. You set the bar high.

It's been three years today since I lost you...time goes by, sometimes quickly, and sometimes slowly. I think of you everyday and miss your smile, your laugh, your love. You would be so proud of your son, he is growing and becoming an amazing person, who has a great sense of humor and is very handsome... he takes after you... I am doing okay, just struggling without you... I love you so much and miss you, I wish I could be in your arms just one more time. Dean and I just moved back from Fay, NC and I happened on Bob's page again. Your letters to him remind me of what a loss we all had when Dish left us. We were just talking about him the other day. His sense of humor was beyond compare and thinking of him makes us smile. My heart goes out to you and Michael and you are always in our prayers. Thank you for keeping his memory alive.

this was a great memorial for Dish. I was with him in Stuttgart, a mutual friend of ours gave me the link. The photo memorial is awesome. Dish was a great cat, always friendly, honest, hard workin guy. My thoughts and feelings go out to Mrs Dish and and their boy.

It's Thanksgiving weekend, and your presence is missed as it is always. I miss your arms around me and making Michael and I laugh. I wonder why God had to take you. I can't imagine that he could possibly need you more than Michael and I. My heart aches for you and your little boy asks for you all the time. I love you so much and miss you everyday. Yesterday was Veteran's Day, I had to still get some work done, but you were on my mind (just as you are everyday!) thank you for your amazing service and what you gave for your country.
